It wasn't necessarily my favorite either, but I still enjoyed every minute of it.
In your opinion, based on no HD resolution, it's last Gen.
The physics and control are something you just coulnd't do last generation, or at least not on the scale that SMG does things. Let's see what the rest of the reviews are like, but it's a serious contender for GOTY, in my opinion.

We have two people that just felt the need to copy and paste a huge list of games. All three systems out right now will have great games, why do these stupid arguments have to break out. I have a PS3 and a Wii and I love them both. Soon a 360 will be part of my collection also, which has some great stuff.
Also, if ZOE 3 has not been confirmed, why is it on your lists? I hope it is in development, since it would be pure awesome, but don't list stuff that is more hopefull thi...

First off, I think the 40gig deal is stupid...but it does help for those that can't afford the higher end models. I just spent 100 bucks more and I get my backwords compatability, which was a necessity for me. So I guess this is good news for Sony, if it sells well.
Second, was a ZOE 3 confirmed as being in production? I haven't seen anything about it anywhere.
It's because if it can have a negetive spin on it, then that is the way people will run with it.

Seriously though, people will just attack what could be negetive Nintendo news, because it hurts them too much to think that the Wii is outselling their more powerful consoles like crazy.
Why in the heck are they comparing one day's worth of sales to a weeks worth for other games?
It doesn't make any sense.....I say lets wait and see how it sells in other regions, plus the rest of it's first week in Japan.

If you can take advantage of the install base of all three systems, then you should do so.
If Guitar Hero III sells really well on the Wii, which I think it will, then I think they will go ahead and port it over to the Wii also. They would be stupid not to.
when they delayed SSBB.
Plus I think that Super Mario Galaxy will sell the system for the holiday. SSBB can help make sure the Wii stays selling through the annual video game drought season.

These are the ones I think will sell more than most this holiday.
It deserves to do well on all the systems.
I am waiting to see how Rock Band does, since it's a neat idea. I just hope the singing portions work well, since that could make or break the game.
We'll see. This holiday is too friggin packed with must own titles, that I don't see how anyone can afford all of them. I know I am having difficulty deciding which ones to buy.
You rock, since you put into words how I feel. I also have been gaming far longer than most here have been able to walk, and I do get sick of the hardcore talk and such.
I am curious how many here have been gaming longer than the PS2/XBOX era. I don't understand this console war, since no matter which system you own, you'll have some great games to play. Most of the people who bash a game that just looks kiddy or looks cartoony probably just has some sort of self image issue...
If this article said "XBOX 360 slaughters Wii in Guitar Hero III sales" then we would have tons of messages saying stuff like "Teh Wii is for da Kidz!" or "See, teh Wii is not hardcore!" but since it's a positive news article about the Wii version selling more, there are no comments.
